Luxury Birth of Venus Altar Box

This stunning Birth of Venus altar box will add a touch of luxury when working with this beautiful goddess. 

In a butterfly wooden box which is a sturdy, well made, hand-carved wooden box, made from sheesham wood with brass inlaid corners. On top is a brass inlaid butterfly symbol. Wooden box external dimensions: 20.5 x 12.5 x 5.5cm (8 x 5 x 2.2 inches).

Inside the box contains:

4 Spell candles - 2 pink and 2 red. Tied with ribbon and a heart charm

2 Shells

1 shell decorated with a floral decoupage on one side and painted gold on the reverse side

3 Jars of herbs - Rose petals, Lavender, Lemon balm. Measures 4.5cmx1.7cm

1 Large Rose quartz tumblestone

1 Small White Sage smudge stick decorated with Gypsophila and a dried rose (4 inches)

1 box of Red Rose 'The Lovers' incense cones (15 cones)

1 Printed on Photopaper 'The Birth of Venus' by Sandro Botticelli (who is one of my favourite artists). It depicts the goddess Venus arriving at the shore after her birth, when she had emerged from the sea fully-grown (called Venus Anadyomene and often depicted in art). The painting is in the Uffizi Gallery in Florence, Italy.
