Samhain Protection Jar ~ Pumpkin Charm ~ Putka Pod ~ Halloween

During the month of October the veil thins until it reaches its peak on Samhain/Halloween. Therefore it is important to have protection in your house to keep out unwanted spirits. 

This beautiful protection jar includes crystals, herbs and salt for their protection properties.

The jar was spellcast and sealed with black and orange wax. The jar was then topped with a putka pod known for its protection properties and then finally adorned with a jack o' lantern charm on purple and orange ribbon. Jack o'lanterns have been used throughout history to ward off evil spirits.
